For general wellness and prevention, I recommend the following basic guidelines:

1. Ages 0 - 40 should schedule a treatment once every three months when the seasons change. Treatments focus on helping the body transition to the conditions of the new season. If there is a specific health concern, more treatments can be scheduled at that time.

2. Ages 40 - 60 should schedule a treatment once a month for general maintenance and support. If there is a specific health concern, more treatments can be scheduled at that time.

3. Ages 60+ should schedule a treatment once a week for general maintenance and support. If there is a specific health concern, more treatments can be scheduled at that time.

Yes, absolutely. I've created a cozy and relaxed healing space in my home in North Marysville. The family room, with its view of our beautiful garden, provides a private, quiet, and clean environment for your comfort.

Yes. I require all patients to wear a mask when inside the treatment area and during treatments. I will also wear a mask during your treatment. 

Yes. The clinic area is thoroughly cleaned before all treatment days.

No. Unfortunately, my home is not currently equipped with ramps, facilities, or doors wide enough to accommodate patients using wheelchairs. Please book an appointment with a provider in a wheelchair accessible location. I apologize for the inconvenience.

If you use a walker or have difficulty with stairs, I am able to bring you into the house through the garage. Please let me know in advance if you need this accommodation.

Yes, I have cats who share the space. If you have allergies to cats, this treatment space may not be appropriate for your condition. While the cats typically stay out of sight during sessions, they might make a surprise appearance if you're lucky!

Yes, my spouse, John, works from home. While you may hear him, he's on a different floor, ensuring minimal interaction during your session. If you'd like, I can introduce you during your first visit.

Certainly. You can bring one quiet companion who can sit during your session. Alternatively, both of you can receive treatments simultaneously in my accommodating space.

Yes. Generally, my practice focuses on adults, but I do accept children's cases on an individual basis. Please schedule a free introductory call to discuss your child's needs. 

A parent or guardian must be present in the treatment area at all times.

No. Unfortunately, as a small provider, I do not have the support structure to properly service and manage insurance billing while maintaining my quality and effectiveness as a healer.

I am happy to provide a superbill for your acupuncture treatment. However, if you require additional administrative tasks such as changing ICD diagnosis codes, rewriting notes, submitting additional documentation, performing additional diagnostic tests, testifying in court, or filling out additional paperwork, I must refer you to one of the many capable local acupuncturists who will be happy to work with your health insurance to provide care. 

I accept credit cards and checks. For your safety, I don't keep cash in my home. If you prefer cash payments, please bring exact change and let me know in advance. Payment is due when services are booked.

24 hours. If you are unable to make your scheduled time, please let me know as soon as possible. Late cancellations and no shows for appointments are charged the full amount. Multiple cancellations and no shows may result in loss of advance booking for appointments.
